Похоже, что Греции всё же пушной зверёк:

Greece's 2010 budget deficit was bigger than estimated at over 10 percent of GDP, heralding yet more austerity measures, a source close to the country's international lenders told Reuters on Thursday.

The revision will heap another fiscal burden on a government already struggling to avoid a debt restructuring after missing some targets of an EU/IMF bailout, just as Portugal's decision to seek EU aid sharpens investors' focus on the euro zone crisis.

The government's most recent estimate of last year's deficit was 9.4 percent of economic output, while its lenders -- the 'troika' of European Commission, IMF and ECB -- saw it at 9.6 percent. The initial target was about 8 percent of GDP.

"12 адалар" в Эгейском море. Сомневаюсь что Греция продаст острава, но все же ситуация у нее не завидная. Может быть они пойдут "по армянскому пути" ))) и начнуть продать государственные имущества, предприятия взамен на долги? Тоже не плохой вариант если Турция сможет участвовать в этом. IDO

В пятницу консорциум частных компаний (Tepe-Akfen-Souter-Sera) за 861 миллион долларов выиграл аукцион по приватизации муниципального предприятия İDO (İstanbul Deniz Otobüsleri), которое обеспечивает большинство внутригородских и внешних перевозок по Мраморному морю. Напомним, что флотилия İDO состоит из 25 морских автобусов, 17 автомобильных и 10 скоростных паромов, обслуживающих 18 линий с 36 терминалами. This important metamorphose made Turkey in the new European security architecture de facto obsolete. As a matter of fact, the EU Common Security and Defense Policy marginalized Turkey's security role.

The categorical exclusion of Turkey from a European security identity and/or EU accession negotiations would have abrupt and serious consequences. For example, Turkey's withdrawal of its application for EU membership might paralyze the operational functionality of Europe's security architecture - especially if Turkey's unique location and regional relationships are kept in mind. Besides a lack of future cooperation in the case of a crisis in the neighborhood, Turkey might also refuse to share its intelligence data with European terrorism task forces. In addition, it could potentially make use of its veto right to prevent the EU from utilizing certain NATO assets.

Надо добавить - теперь Турция может отстраняться от чисто европейских инициатив типа ливийской - и злорадно наблюдать за тем, как Каддафи гоняет протеже европейцев мухобойкой, ожидая своего часа.

Хотя, конечно, списывать европейцев пока не стоит - в Кот д'Ивуаре горящие любовью к какао демократии французы добили-таки Гбагбо. Подложили свинью местным католикам, так сказать.
